Anoush is a professional Belly Dance Artist, Instructor and Choreographer of Classical, Modern Egyptian and Folkloric dance. Anoush has traveled throughout the United States, Italy, Mexico, and Egypt to participate in renowned workshops and prides herself as a devoted teacher and dance coach. She has achieved a reputation throughout the dance world for her extraordinary appreciation for communicating the instruction of dance and rhythm from the foundational technique to the subtle complexities of Oriental Dance. The formal dance training she received during her formative years has contributed to her innovative, yet classic style of Middle Eastern dance and has afforded her many opportunities to teach and judge at the dance festivals with many well-respected artists throughout the world.
Anoush is the Choreographer for her own dance group, The Egyptian Fantasy Dancers and is also the Artistic Director for her Student Showcase and her annual professional gala show – the Epic Egyptian Fantasy Gala Show. She has also served as the workshop and event producer for Mr. Ahmed Hussien’s Immersion Training in Southern California and Summer Camp in Kansas as well as Assistant to Mr. Ahmed Hussien for his Oriental Dance classes and workshops.
Anoush has more than 20 years of experience in the art of belly dance and has been trained by some of the most respected instructors in the belly dance field and has also served as an International workshop instructor and performer. She continues theatre studies in Fiano Romano, Italy with world renowned Maria Strova, artistic director of Teatro Del Respiro, has taught numerous workshops and performed with as well as served on the judge’s panel at Maria Shazadi’s 8th Annual International Belly Dance Competition at TEATRO Hipodromo Condesa in Mexico City, Mexico. Anoush also received specialized and intensive dance and business mentorship, teaching and judging certification by Mr. Ahmed Hussien, Egyptian Master of Oriental Dance. Anoush’s pursuit of knowledge is absolute. She is dedicated to continuous study with Mr. Ahmed Hussien, Maria Strova and is in the process of completing her master courses with Mr. Ehab Hassan, artistic director of Egypt's own legendary Reda Troupe.
In addition, she has earned dance certifications and recognition through her dedicated study with world renowned dance artists at a national level with Fahtiem. Zahra Zuhair, Aradia and at an international level with Mr. Ehab Hassan, Artistic Director of Reda Troupe, Ms. Maria Strova, and Mr. Ahmed Hussien, which have contributed to shaping her soulful, artistic essence and style. Anoush participated in the production of numerous instructional belly dance and Arabic drumming DVD’s, and was also recently contracted as a guest workshop instructor for Cal Poly University, Pomona. Anoush is excited to participate as an esteemed judge and performer for Kansas City's first annual Heart of America Belly Dance festival featuring Luna of Cairo.
From her own personal dance studio to traveling abroad, Anoush is passionately committed to preserving, promoting and educating students about the beautiful, rich history and tradition of Belly Dance. As a professional Belly Dance Artist, Instructor, Choreographer of Modern Egyptian and folkloric dance, she strives to inspire students to meet their fullest potential and has devoted her skills to developing students from beginning levels to professional. She is also known for her artistic direction and skillfully applying the knowledge she receives through intensive mentorships along with her experience as a project manager to every event she produces.
